It is the firm's philosophy that the mediator must approach his task in a thought-provoking and unbiased manner. These attributes develop the confidence of all parties and result in a free and frank exchange of ideas. This ultimately creates an atmosphere of trust that eventually leads to an amicable resolution of the dispute. The mediation service handles all aspects of the mediation, including scheduling of the conference, preparing the appropriate Confidentiality Agreement which we believe is critical to the frank exchange of ideas and providing a comfortable conference room in which to conduct the mediation. These services are provided for a flat initiation fee and a reasonable hourly rate based upon the time necessary to prepare for the mediation conference and the conference itself. The parties are also free to submit a mediation statement that will be subject to the same confidentiality provisions, in an effort to educate the mediator with respect to their position.
